Bicycle Trails

Currently, there are 7.16 miles of Class 1 bike trails with in the City of South Lake Tahoe, linking the Stateline area with the west side of town. From there you can connect with the bike trail that is adjacent to Highway 89 and leads to the Camp Richardson/Valhalla area with all the beautiful beaches, activities, and concerts that go with it.

Thanks to a recent bond measure, there will soon be another 15+ miles of bike trail added to our “Bicycle Friendly Community”. This new trail system will allow a cyclist to ride from Meyers to Stateline without having to ride on the road and will open up recreation opportunities to the cyclist throughout the South Shore area. Stay tuned!
