**PARKS & REC SUMMER CAMPS UNDERWAY** The Summer Fun has begun! Your chance to win an iPod!!! Camp Radical and Camp Tadaka filling fast

The City of South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department Summer Camp programs and activities are in full swing. Space is limited and “Fun Field Trips” (using buses for transportation) fill up very quickly. Do not be disappointed – sign up early.

Camp runs Monday – Friday from 23rd June – 29th August (closed 4th July) and opens each day at 7:30am and closed promptly at 6:30pm. Latest time to arrive is 9:15, earlier on certain days. See Camp calendars for details. 

Camp Radical, for 5th – 8th graders, offers fun activities including golf lessons, kayaking, trips to the beach, paintball, river rafting, bowling, water skiing and of course visits to the pool and ice arena. Camp Tadaka, for 1st – 8th graders, offers fun activities including climbing wall, bowling, trampolining, gymnastics, trips to the beach, fun food activities and swimming. 

“Fun Field Trips” include Wild Island, Six Flags Marine World, Monarchs Basketball, Carson Swim Center, Lampe Park, Trampolining in Sacramento, Sand Harbor, Meeks Bay and River Rafting. 

Camp Tadaka costs $20/day or $90/week (4th July week is $70). Costs vary for the “Fun Field Trips” and Camp Radical activities, so please visit our web site at www.recreationintahoe.com or call the Parks and Recreation Department at 530.542.6056 for more information. 

All kids have the opportunity to participate in the Parks and Recreation Department “WE CAN” Summer Wellness Challenge and qualify for the opportunity to win an iPod!!!
